A few weeks after the «work in progress ver. 2» exhibition, we were able to win Nicolas Polli for a photo book workshop. During the two-day workshop, we received many tips and tricks on how to turn a project into a meaningful book and what it takes to do so. We were able to benefit greatly from Nicolas Polli’s many years of experience and gained many impressions of his everyday life and work process.
Based on various published books, Nicolas Polli was able to describe the entire process to us, from the creation of the concept to the production process through to publication and what comes afterwards. We gratefully absorbed all this information, had lots of questions and only got to our own presentations briefly at the end of the day.
On the second day, Nicolas Polli went into our respective projects in detail, one-to-one.
For some, the focus was on specific details of implementation, while for others it was mainly on conceptual work. At the end of the day, all participants had concrete steps for themselves on how to proceed with implementation. We hope to see one or two books soon and would like to thank Nicolas Polli for his valuable input.
